ABOUT ME

 

  Born the youngest of two children in Nashville, Tn, Amber Watts began singing at the age of 4; and by the age of 8 was connecting words with music and making up songs. She played many instruments attending Trousdale County HS in Hartsville,Tn. When she reached the age of 19 she began singing at her Grandfather's Church before he would Preach his sermon.  Amber began to develop some writing skills and had thoughts of some day singing her songs in a Public Venue. While growing up her father would listen to Country Music so it has always been a part of her to be influenced by the Greats like Hank Williams Sr., Randy Travis, Reba McEntire,Shania Twain, Bonnie Raitt, and Elvis Presley. Ambers Mother would listen to rock groups Queen and Heart.

  Some of that mixed with the country music while living in proverty with her honest and down to earth parents gave Amber plenty of subject matter to write and sing about, thus creating a sound that is truly from real life, with real heart, meaning, and drive to leave her listeners with hope, understanding, and something to think about. Ambers new album "Bad Luck Baby" (now due for release in 2013) is a culmination of all the above and more. This Down to earth country girl is looking forward to promoting and singing her music to everyone.
